Today was the day! Rehearsals were over, scripts were practiced, and it was MISSION TIME! It was an exceptional experience to watch these incredible kids, speaking and acting as real astronauts during their missions. They had to run through shuttle preparations, launch, separate the engines, connect with the International Space Station, fulfill their missions and experiments, deconnect from ISS, and get home safely. The camp councelors would challenge the teams with problems that they needed to solve as a team. The entire experience demanded focus and concentration for over an hour. Our students were ROCKSTARS! Below are some pictures I captured from the day’s activities. We’re looking forward to the BBQ party tomorrow night!
